Innovating to combat drought in Barcelona

In the summer of 2022, Barcelona suffered one of the worst droughts in its history. While the city entered drought alert status, a group of local engineers had a revolutionary idea.

Thus MICA was born, a non profit organization with the mission of transforming how we understand and conserve water. Our technology allows Barcelona residents to face each new water crisis with precise data and innovative tools.
